this would be a sweet once in a lifetime trip, but I'm just not ready for it. too bad.

I just spotted this south of Tuk it has what looks like a landing pad what do you think it is?

Found this close up apparently its an old oil rig that went bankrupt.

yes we will do one or two trips as I have some work/changes I want to do on the van first.

Its in a bay just south of Tuk I just thought it was humongous as the ship beside it looks like a big ship as well and looks small compared to this structure..

when I saw the closeup of the oil rig it just said umbrella corp to me LOL....

OK I have some contact numbers but think maybe wait until 2 months before we go to contact people to try and make arrangements to maybe stay with a family for a day or two I really want to try out some whale blubber and seal meat and maybe even some caribou or other types of local food items.
I am slowly getting more info on Tuk and what we could do around the area.
